We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This may include your IP address (anonymised), browser type, device type, country, pages visited, and session duration. Analytics cookies and data collection are activated only after you have given your consent via the cookie banner. If you decline cookies, Google Analytics is not loaded.
When you convert a document to audio, the document file is parsed entirely in your browser where technically possible. To generate audio, the selected text content of each chapter is sent to our server and then transmitted to third-party speech synthesis providers for the sole purpose of generating the requested audio. Our speech synthesis providers may include Microsoft or other third-party providers.
We do not use your submitted text to train AI models. We do not intentionally store your uploaded documents or generated audio. However, limited technical logs may be temporarily processed by our hosting provider or service providers for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service operation.
We use cookies set by Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, and related cookies) to distinguish users and sessions. These cookies are only set after you accept cookies via the consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or via your browser settings.
If you contact us by email, we will retain that correspondence as long as necessary to respond to your request and maintain a record of the communication.
DocsToAudio requires no account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information unless you contact us directly.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our service providers or other lawful transfer mechanisms to protect your data during international transfers.
We do not intentionally store uploaded documents or generated audio as part of the standard conversion process. Submitted text is processed only as necessary to generate the requested audio.
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Limited technical logs held by Vercel are subject to Vercel's retention policy. Support emails may be retained as long as necessary to respond to your request and maintain records of the communication.

Google Analytics may process limited technical and usage information such as device type, browser, approximate location, pages visited, and interaction events. Where available, we configure analytics to minimise personal data collection.
