We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics cookies and data collection are activated only after you have given your consent via the cookie banner. If you decline cookies, Google Analytics is not loaded. Google Analytics may process technical information such as device type, browser, approximate location, pages visited, and interaction events. We do not intentionally send document content, file names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
Your original document file is parsed in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers. However, the selected text required to generate audio is sent to our server and then transmitted to the relevant speech synthesis provider:
We do not use your submitted text to train AI models. We do not store your uploaded documents or generated audio files on our servers.
We collect limited, non-content usage metrics about conversions, such as input file format, approximate word and character counts, number of chapters, and conversion time. We use these to measure service performance, prevent abuse, and improve the product. These metrics do not include document content or file names.
For signed-in users, conversion metrics are associated with your account to support credit billing, usage history, and dispute resolution.
You may use DocsToAudio anonymously without creating an account. If you choose to sign in to access Premium features, we collect:

Signed-in users also receive a session cookie required for authentication. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or via your browser settings.
If you contact us by email, we will retain that correspondence as long as necessary to respond to your request and maintain a record of the communication.
