Review a draft, listen to a report or follow your study notes. The DOCX reader extracts the document text into readable paragraphs, highlights the spoken sentence and lets you select a sentence to start there. Change the text size to suit your screen.
Recognized Word Heading 1–6 styles divide the text into sections. Choose a section in Contents, move between sentences or skip a paragraph. Documents without headings remain readable as one section. Save headings as Word heading styles rather than only using bold text.
Choose a voice for the document language and a speed from 0.75× to 2×. Available free voices do not spend credits; temporary usage limits apply. The reader saves your section and sentence to your account, so you can reopen the document from My Documents.
Upload an unencrypted .docx file up to 30 MB. Paragraphs and list text are read in order; table cells become sequential text. Original pagination, columns, images, headers, footers, footnotes and comments are not reproduced. Legacy .doc and macro-enabled .docm files are unsupported. Decompression limits also apply.
